TOPIC: DOUBLE MIRACLE THROUGH DEFINITE FAITH IN THE SON
TEXT: MARK 2:3-4;
Everybody praise the Lord. The Almighty God is here with us. Jesus Christ Saviour, Master, Lord, mountain Remover is here for you, your life will turn around tonight IN Jesus Name. We are coming to Mark 2:3-5. And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. It's a story that will become your story tonight. It talks about Jesus, it talks about a man that was totally paralyzed, incapacitated, and there was no way he can have MIRACLE except through the Lord Jesus Christ the Master of healer. As you're here tonight, you will not be disappointed. And as the four men brought him, there was a crowd, but they have faith in Christ that in the presence of Christ, there's deliverance, there's healing, and everything you need is present in Him. He's by your side there, wherever you are, Christ is there with you, and that Christ will do a miracle in your life tonight IN Jesus Name. When they couldn't get to Christ, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. And they dropped him in the very presence of Christ, and Christ saw their faith and he called him son. Coming to the presence of Christ makes you son of Christ, and He will give you total liberation from sin. This paralytic man got the miracle of healing. The Faith you place in Christ, the faith you pin in Christ and on what Christ has done at Calvary, when you have that definite faith in the Lord, that definite faith will provide you the double miracle, double supernatural, and double healing.
POINT 1. THE FOUR WITH FORTITUDE AND STEADFASTNESS OF COMMITMENT.
MARK 2:3-4; JEREMIAH 29:13; LUKE 19:3-10; JOHN 3:1-3.
Mark 2:3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. These four men went to this man that was paralyzed, And when they could not come nigh unto Jesus for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay. And when Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. We notice something here, to receive healing and forgiveness, there's human part. These four men have fortitude and steadfast commitment to get the man to Jesus. They had the strength to take the man to the very presence of Christ. If you're asking for anything, there's no other person to go to except Jesus Christ. These four men brought the paralyzed man to the presence of God and he had the greatest blessing. It's wonderful to know the name of these four men, but that doesn't matter. The attitude, the attribute that defines their lives is the thing that is important. Actually, your attribute and what you do actually defines you. If anything is going to lift you up and bring you to the presence of Christ, the name of that personality is desire. As you are coming to Christ tonight, you must have the desire. If you only hold one corner, it will not works, the second name of those men is called decision. What brings us solution to our problems us decision. There was great crowd when they brought the man but they didn't give up because they had determination. They get the man in the presence of Christ. Another thing is desperation, they were desperate, you need to join desire, decision and determination to desperation. When you come to Christ, you're going to see a great crowd, but if you're timid, if you're shy, you cannot have your miracle. You must have determination that Christ will change everything changeable in your life tonight, and as you come with desire, decision and determination, you must be desperate, and it's that desperation that makes you get your blessing. Those are the four characteristics you ought to have as you're coming to the presence of Christ. The name of these men that carried the sick men are desire, decision, determination and desperation. As you are coming to Christ tonight, you need that kind of four qualities. If you want your life to come in a normal way and to fulfil the purpose of God in your life, you must come out of your sin. There must be a desire, there must be a decision, there must be a determination and desperation. Your whole passion must be on those four qualities. Tonight you will meet Christ and He will be your Saviour.
POINT 2. THE FAITH FOR FORGIVENESS AND SALVATION THROUGH CHRIST.
MARK 2:5; JAMES 2:17,20,26; ACTS 20:20-21; 26:20.
In that forgiveness, you will not have contact with heaven except there's forgiveness from heaven. You will not have freedom from sin except there's forgiveness from heaven and you have the Salvation of the Lord. Mark 2:5 says, When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee. You can see the love of Christ towards this paralytic man, how do you see joy? It's by the expression of joy, the same way you see faith by the action of faith. Look at those four men that brought this sick man to Christ, we see the desire, decision, determination and desperation they exhibited. Anywhere, anytime God the Almighty says faith, faith in action, He always does incredible, if you have joy, love, expectation, it will show in your action. If your Faith doesn't have expectation and action, it's dead faith. Any joy that doesn't have expression, that joy is dead. Any affection without expression is dead. Faith without desire, without decision, without determination, without desperation is dead. There are many people that have faith but they do not have determination, they do not have mind on their own, faith must have expression. Faith without action, without standing up for Christ, without calling on Christ for forgiveness is dead. It's the Spirit that give expression to the body, and the body without spirit is dead. Faith without appropriate expression is dead. Anywhere there's faith in Christ, there's salvation, there's forgiveness. If you say you have faith without expression of forgiveness, that faith is dead. Faith without desire, without decision, without determination, without desperation is dead. Anywhere there's active faith, you will hear from the Lord. When JESUS saw sinners, He called them sinners. Jesus is the truth, but when you come to the presence of Christ, instead of calling you sinner, He will call you son because that active faith is coming to you. When people forgive, they have to forgive in isolation, is only Christ that can forgive all the sins you've committed since you were born. If somebody forgives you here, he cannot telephone heaven, the forgiveness of man stop here on earth, it doesn't travel to heaven. But when Christ says your sins are forgiven, immediately that forgiveness travels to heaven, there's Joy in heaven, the Father knows about it, and Christ doesn't regard you as sinner anymore, He regards you as son. Anytime you have that forgiveness through the Son, the Spirit bear witness in your heart, that's the value of forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ. If a man forgive you, he cannot take the nature of the thief from your heart, he cannot transform you, he cannot give you the power not to repeat that, it's only Christ that can forgive you. Nobody can give you a change of life, they may have good nature but they cannot transform the lives of people that come across their way. Only Christ can forgive. As you come and you're determined, Christ will be the guide of your life. If you have desperation, He will forgive your sins.
POINT 3. THE FORCE OF FAITH IN THE SAVIOUR FOR OUR CURE.
MARK 2:9-12; MATHEW 11:12; ISAIAH 38:16,20; ACTS 9:34-35.
Jesus cures us, He will cure you tonight, He will heal you, He will deliver you because He's still the same. We are talking about the Christ who saves and heals. The power of faith is in the Saviour for your cure. Sin and sicknesses came to the world, at the beginning, there was no sin, because of that, there was no suffering, there was no death, but in chapter 3 of Genesis, Adam and Eve allowed sin to come to their lives. Satan came, introducing the forbidden fruit, and they yielded. Satan entered into their nature, Satan in nature made them to do what is wrong. Sin came upon everyone, and then death passed on to every man, sickness comes as an errand of death, sin comes ahead and those evil things demonstrate Satan in your nature. You couldn't deliver yourself except through Christ. Only Christ can deal with sin and sickness, He's the One that can remove the suffering and sickness. Setting souls free is easy for Christ to do. You need to be free from sin so that you will have your name in the book of life in heaven, and the powerful Name of Jesus will cure your sickness. The Son of God has power on earth. Everywhere in every nation, Christ has power on earth to forgive sin. The Man of Authority, the man of Anointing is Jesus Christ. He has the anointing that breaks every yoke in every life, He has power in heaven and on earth. His word alone carries Power and authority, His word alone carries anointing. If you believe in Christ, He will heal you, He will forgive your sins. Miracle is coming your way tonight, healing, deliverance, strength from on high coming to you tonight. Do what you could not do, rise up because you have met Christ the healer, you must put that faith into action. If you set back, your faith will be dead faith. When you hear the word that healing and deliverance is sent to you, you will demonstrate Faith. Anywhere there's faith, a miracle and healing always takes place. Everything the Lord has said, act it out. That's faith in expression, you must act out what Christ has said. Active Faith and proclaim faith will bring the healing and deliverance. Tonight it will happen to you. Don't allow unbelieving disposition to disturb your faith. This man wasn't distracted, whatever the debate of Pharisees, don't let them hinder your faith. All the people were amazed when JESUS healed this man. Tonight as you come, people will glorify the Name of God on your behalf, heaven and Earth will rejoice on your behalf. We see what we have never seen and known in our lives when we act out faith. Hope, help, healing, salvation has come. Your time has now come.
