TOPIC: THE MIRCALE WORKING POWER OF HIS SPOKEN WORD.
TEXT: MATTHEW 8:5-13,16-17.
Everybody Praise the Lord. What a joy, what a excitement to be in Zambia again! This time, we want to exalt and magnify the Name of God of miracle. Get ready, healing, salvation and the power of God upon your life today IN Jesus Name. We are looking at Matthew 8, and we are reading some selected verses there.
Verse 5, And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
8:6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 8:7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. And what He did at that time, He's going to do in your life tonight. Miracle of salvation, miracle of healing, miracle of deliverance, and miracle of power that will roll away your problem in your life tonight. He speaks the word and your life is transformed. Tonight, you will find the reality of the spoken word of Christ in your life IN Jesus Name.
POINT ONE: THE SPOKEN WORD FOR OUR HEALING.
MATTHEW 8:5-10; PSALMS 107:17-20; MATTHEW 8:16-17; LUKE 4:32-36
When He speaks the word, all the pains in your life will vanish away instantaneously. Jesus is by your side over there, you may not see Him physically to touch Him, but He will touch your life spiritually and His spoken word will come to you there and it'll solve your problem. As you are here tonight, you will carry a miracle back home. Jesus never reject anyone, He accepts anyone that come and tonight He's going to heal you. He comes to you tonight so that your sick will be healed. Miracle time has come for you tonight. The centurion man knew that the word of Christ has supernatural authority. As you recognize the authority of Christ tonight, He will speak a word and you will be healed tonight IN Jesus Name. The man said he is a man under authority and because of that, he commands his servants to do this and they does it. This man recognized the authority of Jesus, when somebody is under a higher authority, on the basis of that authority he can command. Jesus our Saviour will speak to demon to come out and he has to go out because He is under authority. Those apostles came under the authority of Jesus and He gave them power to wrought miracles. Every apostles stays under the authority of Jesus. Peter was under the authority of the captain of our Salvation, therefore all he had to say is a word and miracles took place. Philip also was under the authority of Jesus Christ, he preached Christ, he spoke only of Jesus and all the demon possessed there, they were delivered. If you're under authority, just a spoken word, miracle will strike. Your sickness tonight has to go, all your pain, all your problems tonight, they are going IN Jesus Name. There's authority in that spoken word, all you need to do is to recognise Him as your Saviour, and as you confess with your mouth and you believe in your heart, you will recognize that Jesus has the authority, and as you hear the spoken word tonight, your problems are solved. Tonight, you are going back saved, you're going back healed, tonight you're going back with your miracles IN Jesus Name. This is your hour of salvation, this is the hour of your healing and deliverance tonight IN Jesus Name. He sends His word to you tonight, is the word that heals, is the word of Power, is the word of authority, is the word of Power, tonight, your miracle has arrived. This evening, your miracles will come, He will cast out the evil spirits in your life with His word. Jesus always applies spoken word because the spoken word brings supernatural power to your life. Tonight is your night, His word works with power, anytime He speaks that spoken word, His power will drive away every evil power in your life and in your family IN Jesus Name. Tonight in your life, in your family, all disease, all infirmity, everything coming out tonight out of your life IN Jesus Name. That's the power of authority for the spoken word of healing in our lives.
POINT TWO: THE SUPERNATURAL SPOKEN WORK IN THE HEART.
EZEKIEL 18:30-32; 36:11,25-26; JAMES 4:8; 1 SAMUEL 10:9
Jesus Christ saves the soul and He turns everything around in our lives, and He works in a supernatural way. The Lord says, Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. (Ezekiel 18:30-32). God gives us a conscience, He gives us understanding of what is good and what is bad, but we go against the upright life we ought to live, and that is called iniquity and wrong doing. We can reverse that in our lives, just one word, recognize your evil deeds and realize you can change if you want to, understand that the Lord has the power to turn your life IN the right direction, He will do it tonight, just repent. The only thing you can do to escape judgment is to cast away the garment of iniquity because if you don't, it will get you out of the Kingdom of God. Those people living in the time of Noah, they were living in corruption, and all they should do is to cast away destruction. What we ought to do today is to cast away all our transgressions and you will not die in sin, the Lord will save you, the Lord will help you, He will give you the grace to cast away all that iniquities so that you will not die in your transgressions. If anybody dies in sin, he's forever separated from God because he rejected the forgiveness of God, God doesn't have pleasure in anyone who dies in sin, the pleasure God has is that your sin is forgiven. Tonight, the mercy of God in your life will give Him pleasure, you will not perish, He will forgive your iniquities tonight, if you believe in Christ, you will not perish, but you will have everlasting life. Jesus said He will come and heal you, He will heal you, He will multiply you and you will increase, if you're unsettled, He will settle you tonight, if you're restless, He will settle you tonight. Tonight is your night, the Lord will give you better life. Greater life, higher life has come for everyone that will accept the offer of the Lord tonight. Tonight, the Lord will cleanse you and your whole being will become clean by the touch of the Lord tonight IN Jesus Name. Tonight, the blessing of the Lord is coming from heaven and it'll descend upon you, He will give you a new heart, tonight He will do it.
POINT THREE: THE SAME WONDER FOR THE HUMBLE.
MATTHEW 8:8,11-13; 2 CHRONICLES 7:4; ISAIAH 57:15,18; JAMES 4:6,10.
We see the humility and meekness of this centurion man in Matthew 8:8, The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. Christ is still the same, His authority is still the same, He does the same thing that He did at that time. When we appear before the Lord and we are not proud, and we are humble and meek, miracle of salvation, miracle of healing, miracle of deliverance will always come. This centurion man had humility, that's why he had that same wonder upon his life. Tonight as you call Jesus Lord and your Captain, that shows your humility, He will heal you. Nobody can pay for Salvation and healing, nobody is worthy but our worthiness is in Christ, He was sinless and spotless but we are not, because all have sinned, all are guilty and a condemned and a guilty man cannot purchase Salvation for any other guilty man. No man on earth can purchase Salvation and forgiveness for everyone because all have sinned. There's only One person that can provide salvation for the world, that person is sinless and it can only be found in Jesus Christ, He has no sin and because of that, He's qualify to be your Saviour, He was approved to be your Redeemer. Tonight as you come with a heart of humility, and you rely on Him for Salvation, tonight forgiveness, healing and salvation will come. When Adam and Eve sinned, curse came upon every created things, there's no worthiness there, the earth is under the curse, whatever possession you have cannot buy you salvation, when Christ speaks the word tonight, and when He says your sins are forgiven, your sins are forgiven. Christ is the only One that has the authority because He's the Saviour, tonight you will hear His voice tonight that your sins are forgiven and nobody can bring back that sin in your life, it'll happen tonight. Your eyes are your servants, and when the eyes are dim, they cannot serve you anymore. And tonight Jesus will speak the word only, all the parts of your body are servants, if they cannot serve you well, Jesus Christ will speak the word only and instantaneously they will be healed. Tonight, the Lord will speak the word to your legs that carry you and they will serve you well IN Jesus Name. Tonight, healing is coming to your lung IN Jesus Name. Every part of our bodies suppose to be serving us, but when there's pain, they cannot serve us well anymore, but tonight, you will receive healing IN Jesus Name. But you must receive Him into your life, and as He be your Lord, healing will come to your life tonight IN Jesus Name. If you call on the Name of the Lord, you will be saved. Condemnation and guilt will come out of your life, call him your Saviour. He died for us, the sinless died for the sinful, the perfect died for the imperfect, salvation will enter your life there, forgiveness, freedom is available for you tonight.
