TOPIC: THE MAKING OF AN AWAKENED, ACHIEVING GIANT.
TEXT: NUMEBRS 13:30-33
Everybody praise the Lord. Today, is going to be a turning point in your life IN Jesus Name. We talking on a subject that will take hold on you and wake you up, transform your life. And from today, if you have been sleeping, the power and the anointing will come upon you and you will wake up IN Jesus Name. As we come together this time, I'm talking to you on the raising up an achieving giant. The hand of the Lord will take hold on you and you will wake up and be an awakened giant. There's a physical giant, there's a mental giant (The IQ is there and he knows how to make use of his brain). There's a spiritual giant. If the Spirit, the soul is so develop, it's not just a physical giant, he is a spiritual giant. There's a professional giant. This means a professional giant has so grown up. We have ministerial giant. As they minister, we see the life they lived, we see the impact they make. There are people who are temporary giant. They behave like the giant, but it's temporal. When the storm comes, they are crushed. There is also a tenacious giant, permanent giant. There are giants that are just private. In fact, before you can be come a public giant, you must be a private giant, you internalize the quality of a giant. Those are the people that come out and they become a public giant. The Lord will make of you the giant you ought to be in your self, in your family and as well in your nation. Let us go up is a language of giant.
In Numbers 13:30-33, the word of God says, And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. Before the children of Israel were conquered, they were physical giants, but mentally, spiritually, professionally, ministerially, that man called Caleb was the real giant. The language of the giant is, I am well able. You are able to pass your exams, you are well able to do practical things that demands intelligent and steadfastness. The giant in the spirit is the one that is so awakened and it makes you achieve. Today, tomorrow and then it goes on, we are not temporary, the Lord will change your language today. You will have a language of achiever, that whatever wants to knock you down, you'll rise up and say, I am well able.
POINT 1. RENOUNCE, REJECT, PUSH AWAY FROM YOU AND ABANDON THE FALSE GIANT.
HABAKKUK 2:4.
There are fakes giants, they can boast, they can shout but they are fake. But in our lives as we think about the making of the awakening giant, you want to recognize the false giant and you abandon it. There's a giant that confronted the children of Israel in 1Samuel chapter 17, his name is Goliath, that is physical giant, he wasn't a spiritual giant, he was just physical. He thought his height, his body muscles makes him a giant. We need to abandon and renounce such false giant.
What is false giant?
G-great stature without great salvation Hebrews 2:3.
How will you escape sudden defeat when the strength is collapsed? A great stature without great salvation is not a real giant.
I-Irreverent speech without innocent soul
I Samuel 17:10.
Goliath was irreverent
A-Aggressive saboteur without agreeable sense. Isaiah 36:12.
Goliath didn't have the sense to encourage and build anything good.
Naughty stubbornness without noble softness. James 1:21. Goliath was naughty and incourageable.
Tough-talking sinner without tender spirit. 1 Samuel 17:8.
Say bye bye to the fake, false giant.
POINT 2. RECOGNIZE AND AWAKEN THE FAITH GIANT.
HEBREWS 2:3.
Actually, every giant is a faith giant that have faith in God, he's the one that says God cannot fail, and because God is a faithful God, he's a giant that always ask in faith. You're going to wake up the faith giant, and you will arise and do something tangible in life IN Jesus Name. In Numbers 13:30, And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. Be very careful of what you say in terms of misinterpretation. Many of the children of Israel have the misinformation. Be careful of misinformation and misinterpretation. The promised them they are going to possess the land of Canaan, but the misinformation discouraged them. But Caleb the faith giant told them, we are well able. To confront that mountain before you, you are well able. Now, they were also distracted and discouraged because of their misunderstanding. They didn't look at God and those enemies were so great before them and they forgot how big their God was, but Caleb said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. Giants don't procrastinate, giants don't delay, they don't wait for any other day. When the giant in you wakes up, there will be no delay and procrastination in your life again. You are well able to overcome your enemies. Everything from today that stands against you and before you, you will overcome IN Jesus Name.
How do we describe the faith giant?
G-Given your heart to God. Proverbs 23:26. God wants to reset your heart, He wants to set up the ability in your heart. Will you give your heart to the Lord? That begins the journey faith giant
I-Indwelt heart by God. 2 Corinthians 6:16-18. If you open the door of your heart to the Lord, He will dwell in your heart.
A-Affectionate heart towards God. Deuteronomy 30:6,20. You're so attached to God that you read your Bible when you wake up in the morning, and you pray unto God.
N-New heart from God. Ezekiel 36:11,25-26
As you come to the Lord and you bend your knees before Him, and your Heart is so attached to God, He gives you a new heart. When God does all these for us, we give our hearts to Him and He dwells in our hearts. He implant affection and love in your heart.
T-Tender heart for God. 2 Kings 22:19. When your heart is tender, you will be able to fulfil the purpose of God for your life. We have the tender heart when we hear from God and we rely on Him and we become giants. Being a giant is not from the face, is not physique, is not your stature, is not physical, being a giant is in the heart. And when God makes your heart tender, He will give you all the strength that is needed. You will be a giant IN Jesus Name.
POINT 3. REVIVE AND ADVANCE THE FOCUSED GIANTS.
Even though you're a giant and you scatter the grace, and you scatter the ability you have, although you're a giant, but you spread yourself so cheap that you cannot achieve. When you're revived, you are ready and you're set for advance. Today, a revival that will bring you ability is coming your way and you will never be defeated.
Acronym of giants?
G-Great grace for godly giant. Acts 4:33. God has created great giant by His grace, whatever you want to achieve, great grace is with you, and everywhere you go, great grace will go with you, the grace of God will never fail in your life anymore.
I-Increasing impartation for instructed giants. Revelation 1:4, Psalms 115:13-14.
More and more in your life IN Jesus Name If you're small, He will bless you today. In Psalms 115:13 and 14, the word of God says, He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. The Lord shall increase you more and more. The Lord gives you greater grace
A-Affirmed answer for acceptable giants. 1 Kings 3:5-14. Solomon ask for wisdom, if you want to walk in the narrow way, if you want to plan your life and go the right direction, you need the wisdom, and as you ask today it shall be given unto you, doors of opportunities will open for you.
N-New Nature for Named giants. 2 Peter 1:3-4. God gives us new nature. The divine nature never fails, never falter, it makes us partakers of the divine Nature.
T-Transcending triumph for tenacious giants. 2 Corinthians 2:14
You will triumph IN Jesus Name
S-Supernatural soundness for submissive giants. Matthew 8:8-13. He will make you sound, healthy, strong in every areas of your life IN Jesus Name
How can we become giants?
Go, grow and glow. Whenever you wake up in the morning, you will not stay in idleness there, the Lord has raised you up to be a giant. When you remember that, you go, you, you grow and you glow.
Internalize, interact and influence. You internalize all the promises of God and you also interact with all your neighbours and with the society to demonstrate the ability of the giant, and you also influence other people for the positive everyday, and that's the life of giants.
Ask, adoration, action, advance. When you ask the Lord, He answered. You thank Him, (Adoration) you have confidence in Him and you also have testimonies, you express more confidence in God. After asking, you have the answers, you have action, you act and then you're able to move on and advance. Advance in your life
Normalize your relationship with your neighbours. Don't allow abnormality in the relationship between you and God and between you and your neighbors so that you don't go backward.
You Actualize the nation of the mighty people.
You Naturalize, nationalize and network with the people.
That's what brings this giant into practical thing..
Teach, train, toughen. What you teach other people, teach yourself, talk to yourself. What you train other people for, you also train yourself, you toughen your self because the challenges are tough, the opposition is tough, the hindrances are tough, the world is tough. The Lord will give you testimonies.
See it, say it, solve it. See yourself an achiever, see yourself on the mountain top, say it to the mountain to remove, and solve it. Any problem there, solve it. Anything that will hinder you, solve it. As you're moving on, the Lord will grants you the wisdom to solve the problem everytime IN Jesus Name.
Rise up and receive the spirit, the ability, the achievement, the wisdom, the tenacity of the giant.
