SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE.
MESSAGE ANCHORED BY THE GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT.
TOPIC: JESUS: THE ALMIGHTY ADVOCATE WITH ALL AUTHORITY.
TEXT: 1 JOHN 2:1-3; REVELATION 1:7-8.
Praise the Lord, Sunday hallelujah. The Lord be with you, the Lord bless you, sunshine in your life, miracle in your life, something good is coming your way, this special Sunday morning, the Lord is going to open heaven, and shower blessings upon every life IN Jesus Name. You remember we are talking about JESUS the miracle worker. We have dealt with letter M, letter I, and letter R. Jesus is the Redeemer that comes to reign in the repentance. We want to look at what Jesus' Name and His personality signify. In 1 John 2:1, it thus read, My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. Even the little converts who just came into the Kingdom, he said unto them, My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: If the little children are to be so empowered, so energized, it is that they sin not. If it happens accidentally, or If by carelessness you sin against God, we have an advocate. You've been guilty and Jesus the heavenly came to plead for you, the advocate on earth does not have power to transform lives, but JESUS the advocate in heaven has the power to set us free, the advocate on earth can plead for you but he doesn't have power to make you free from sin. But JESUS the advocate is pleading the Father for you that you will be forgiven and set free, He's able to resolve problems, He delivers, He turns life around for the better, He sets free, but the advocate on earth cannot do that for you. He's the Saviour for the whole world, He's the Power that grants us salvation, He has might, He has ability to help, He has power, He has strength. He's the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending. When He came to the earth, He died for our sins, He rose again and He is to come. Jesus Christ is the advocate, He's the almighty, this day He will take authority against everything evil in your life and you will bear fruit that will make you conqueror in life
POINT ONE: THE PREVAILING AUTHORITY OF THE ALMIGHTY SOVEREIGN.
MATTHEW 28:18-20; 21:23; MARK 1:22-28; LUKE 4:18-21,32-36; MATHEW 8:8-9,10-13; JOHN 5:26-29; 1 CORINTHIANS 15:24-25.
He's always able, not occasionally able, He has perpetual ability. He demonstrated power when He was on earth, He had Power over the worst enemy and the worst anyone could do. Because all Power resides in Him and manifested by Him, He said, go ye therefore and teach all nations about Him, not teaching nations about impossibility, not preaching about devil, the Jesus we worship has all power in heaven and on earth, don't let your preaching and your analysis makes people afraid, go and preach the gospel to them, baptize them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. As He gives us authority, we should teach, we shouldn't entertain, as we go, we teach them to observe. There's something to observe and obey in the word of God, we should teach sinners want to do so that they can be saved, we should teach those who have gone astray, we must teach them what they should observe, teach repentance, teach restitution. We teach everyone something to observe, if anyone offended you, reconcile with that person. Anytime you come and you hear the word of Christ, there's something to observe. If you are coming to Christ, He must have authority over you, He has authority over sickness, over evil spirits too. As you to the Lord with a broken heart, He will heal your brokenhearted. If you're a captive and slave to substance, Jesus in His authority He delivers everyone. If you're a captive to womanization and sensuality, He will deliver you, He will open your sights and set you at liberty. Christ has the authority and if you're suffering, He will give you deliverance today IN Jesus Name. Today is your day of total manifestation of the power of God, it will happen. Everywhere Jesus went, He went With authority, and He comes to you today and He will manifest authority in your life today. That thing disturbing your inside will come out today, that thing that is pushing you on the inside, and it wants to send you to the grave faster, the Lord will manifest total authority today and it will come out, all the sicknesses and oppression will come out today IN Jesus Name. Jesus is available for you today.
Matthew 8:8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 8:10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel. 8:11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour. Here we are and Jesus speaks through the microphone and the word gets to you there, it's the word of salvation, it's the word of healing, it's the word of deliverance, and when the word comes to you today, your healing will go with you, the power of Jesus to destroy the works of the devil will go home with you today. If you ask for Salvation, if you ask for help, if you ask for power to live an overcoming life, it'll be given to you because JESUS has prevailing authority of the Almighty sovereign. All through century every year until this generation, the prevailing authority of Christ continues. Any other power in your life, militating against your Spiritual life, He will pull it down and He will give you the authority to live a life that is glory unto God. The Lord will reign in your life, He will reign in your brain. When people have mentality, there's another power contrary reigning over their progress, the Lord will subdue it in your life. Blood pressure, diabetes will not reign in your body, the reigning One will chase that spirit of sickness away from your life IN Jesus Name. Jesus will come in your body today, He will reign in your body, He will subdue that power that is reigning in your life, He will reign over your character, He will reign over every problem in your life, whoever controls you is your Lord, that's why you come today to change that lordship and you will be guided and controlled by the Spirit and Scriptures. The Lord will reign in your life and every enemy of progress in your life will be subdue. Today, your sickness will be crushed down, any contrary power that will hinder your progress, today it'll be brought down and Christ will reign in your life
POINT 2. THE PERPETUAL ABILITY OF THE ALWAYS-ABLE SAVIOUR.
HEBREWS 7:25-26; 2:17-18; 1 CORINTHIANS 10:13; ROMANS 11:22-23; ACTS 20:32; EPHESIANS 3:20-21; JUDE 1:24-25; PHILIPPIANS 3:10-21.
Some people may help you today but when the problem is severe, they don't have the perpetual ability to help you. But JESUS is able, He has the perpetual ability to do it for you. At the present time, in this generation, Christ is able to save, to deliver, to sanctify, He's able to make us Holy, able to energize us, He's able to solve all our problems, He's able to handle every situations we bring unto Him. He's always able, always harmless, He's always undefile, He is always higher than heaven. He's able to succour you if you're facing irresistible temptation, He is able to support you, He is able to make you to have victory and He's able to help. Whatever temptation and trials you have, somebody's else has had that trial and temptation before, but God is able, He will not allow you to be tempted above that you are able. He always make a way to escape temptation that you will be able to bear it. Don't say you are not able to overcome temptations, don't tell a lie in the presence of God, He's able to make you escape, you will not fall into temptation, you will overcome. If you have the word of God's grace and promise, you will be able to build up and your life will be different. There's an ability in Christ that builds us up in His word. The same way you got angry 10 years ago, you will not do the same thing now. You will not react negatively like you reacted 20 years ago, there must be a change and transformation in your action and in your reaction because when the word of God's grace dwells in you, you will be change. You will be sanctified. Everytime you pray, everytime you're asking for restoration, for the power and courage to do that restitution, you're coming to the One that is able. Everytime you come unto the Lord, He's able to correct that bad things you have done, anytime you are coming for healing and deliverance, you are coming to Him that is able. The power will work in you today. When you are timid and fearful, you know you come to Him that is able to give you strength and power, that tyrant, that injurious person cannot eat you up. The face of some people may look furious, but there's no power and ability in them, don't be afraid of their faces, the power and the ability of God will work in you, the Lord will have glory in your character, He will have glory in your behaviour, you will shine because the glory of God will cover you. When we come to the Lord, and we come to the Lord who is able, He so touches our lives that our lives will be so shine before all men in the world and they will glorify our Father which is in heaven. In this present time, in this situation and circumstance, the Lord is able to keep you from falling, He will keep you from falling, you will not fall into sin, into danger, into sickness, into any power that is above your strength, you will not fall by the way side, you will not fall before Satan, you will not fall into sin. Anytime temptation is coming to make you fall into sin, you will say no because you have graduated from that life of failure. Paul the apostle was already saved, sanctified and filled with the Holy Ghost but he said he still need more. Whatever level of knowledge you have in Christ today, you still need more. Paul the apostle already had all the spiritual virtues, but he said there's still more in heaven to add to what he had. You still need to get everything that heaven has offered, still pray for more of the resemblance to Christ in heaven, don't say you've gotten all you need, there's still more heaven have for you. You don't know what will happen tomorrow, you don't know what will happen in the next week, that's why you need to wait behind to pray after message. There's still something from heaven you still need to get, don't say you've gotten all it takes to live for Christ. If you've been tampering with church money, if you've been taking another men's wives, if you are getting angry with anything that happens, you cannot tell others to be followers of you. Christ must reign in your temper, in your conduct, in your behaviour, if you want people to follow you, you must have the attributes of Christ. Jesus walks in our lives, He walks in our experiences, He walks in our family, He walks in our character, He will subdue everything in our lives to Himself IN Jesus Name.
POINT 3. THE PERMANENT AUTHORIZATION OF THE ACKNOWLEDGED SON.
LUKE 9:1-2,6; 10:1-2,17-20; MARK 13:34-37.
He authorise us that what He did, we will do. The Father acknowledged Him, and every prayer that goes through Him the Lord will answer. He will answer. The Father acknowledged Christ because He is a perfect man, He came to show us how the perfect man ought to live. He comes to make us live like Him, He has the authority and He transfers the authority unto us that we might be like Him, He authorizes us to live like Him. He authorized His disciples to go anywhere and do what He can do, He gave them power and authority over all devils. You have the power to cure diseases. God gives us Power, Christ gives us Power and He gives us authorization, have you ever use that power? Anytime sickness situation comes, you call on our leader to link you up with the General superintendent, you have authorization you're not using, you have the Name of Jesus and that Name will work in your life IN Jesus Name. Power, authority is coming to you, use the power and the authority He gives you, demons, sickness and afflictions will bow before you IN Jesus Name. You will use that power IN Jesus Name. After this crusade, you will use the power that God has given you IN Jesus Name. If you have little headache, little stomach pain, pray, you will overcome. Don't magnify enemies, those enemies in your life are nothing! They will not hurt you.
In Luke 10:19, Jesus Christ said unto His disciples, Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. When you read and read the promise of God, it will reach your brain, it will be part of your life. Today, it will start.
