MESSAGE ANCHORED BY THE GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT.
TOPIC: JESUS: THE COMPASSIONATE CHRIST WITH COMPLETE CURE.
TEXT: LUKE 7:20-23; COLOSSIANS 2:8-10.
Praise the Lord. There is a miracle with your name attached to it. Salvation, healing and deliverance for you, He will not fail in your life, He's your Redeemer, He will do mighty things in your life. He's in heaven right now and He's praying for you, making intercession for all believers. He reigns over every circumstances in your life, your life is turning around for better. Because of that authority and ability He have, He comes to our lives and He does something incredible and possible, today He will do something credible in your life. He comes to save, to heal, to deliver, to set free, to bring the glory on the earth. In this same hour today, your miracle, your conversion, your forgiveness, your freedom will reach you there IN Jesus Name. He's still the same yesterday and today and forever, what He did at that time, He's going to do at this very hour. He will loose your dump tongue, He will open your eyes, if you are paralyze, you will walk tonight, your miracle will reach you IN Jesus Name. The complete cure that Christ brings, He cures the soul, He cures the mind, He heals every part of soul, so His healing is for everyone today. Some men can spoil you with their jesting, with their misunderstanding of the scripture, they can defile you through philosophy, but when you come to Christ and you see what is available through Him, He will give you complete cure. If the blindness makes you incomplete, tonight He will take the suffering and blindness away, tonight you are complete. All the deformity, He will take away and He will make you complete. Power coming from heaven and coming upon your life will take incompleteness away. Tonight is the night of your conversion and everything that is lacking in your life will be supplied tonight IN Jesus Name.
POINT 1. REPENTANCE THAT LEADS TO THE CONFESSION OF CHRIST.
PROVERBS 28:13; 1 JOHN 1:9; ACTS 19:18-20; ROMANS 10:9-10.
He that covers his sin shall not prosper, that's the word of God. Many people cover their sins claiming they never do anything wrong, the people that tell lies cover it with a bigger lie, many people do evil and on Sunday they come to church, they are gentle in church, they are lions outside, in their heart, in their deeds, nobody is as terrible as they are in the society. They colour what they do, and God knows everything. Do you cover your sin and you're putting on a smile? After you have done evil, you cover it up and looks nice, God will bring judgment upon them because they are taking the knowledgeable God as God that cannot see them, but the person that open up and know that God sees all the lies he tells in the market, he shall be forgiven. It's not only to confess, you must forsaken, tonight, mercy is waiting for you. When you confess and when you forsake, God will have mercy on you. But if you only confess and you didn't return what you've stolen from someone, and you keep on using what you stole, that is not conversion, you must forsake, you must restore what you've stolen, you must return what you've stole with a humble heart after confessing to God, that's what bring salvation, you also forsake stealing, that is the word of God, whatever name you call it, if you call it restoration and you're stealing, that's not conversion. Whatever you have taken unlawfully, if you confess and forsake your sins, the mercy of God will come to you tonight. God is able and just to forgive, sins we confess is the sins He forgives, if you cover your sin, you can never conquer, when you confess and forsake your sins, God will give you power to live a victorious life and to overcome sin, tonight, to you it will happen. If you want the Saviour to forgive you, He comes, He forgives you, He set you free and He makes you to conquer the sins you have confessed and forsaken. If you don't forsake, He will not give you conquering power, tonight when you confess and forsake, you will have the mercy of God IN Jesus Name. After confessing the sins, you open your mouth and confess the Saviour, you will be saved, salvation, conversion, a new life comes to you tonight IN Jesus Name.
POINT 2. RELIANCE THAT LEANS FOR CONVERSION ON CHRIST.
MATTHEW 18:3-4; ACTS 3:19,26; JAMES 5:19-20; PSALMS 51:1-13.
When you rely on Christ, you lean on Him, you take Him for support and that reliance brings conversion. We rely on God, not on ourselves, we cannot save ourselves, our resolution, our determination cannot set us free from sin, personal reliance on ourselves can never change our lives. But Christ the One that changes every nature is who we trust and rely on. Tonight as you rely and trust Him, salvation will come to you. Many people have forgotten they are following Christ and they allow pride to come into their lives, they are now seeking position and recognition, Jesus said except they be converted, humble, Meek and they don't use their talents and their children their opportunities to fight for a position, pride will not qualify you to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Repentance is not in isolation, when we truly repent, we turn away from sin, we turn away from evil practices in our lives, not hiding behind the cotton of fornication and adultery. Anything we do behind the cotton and we think because our friends cannot see, that thing shows that you are not truly repented. If you're repented, everything will shows that a transformation has taken place. If we don't repent, our sins will not be blotted out and our sins will be following us like a shadow, don't hide, is of no use, don't do anything in the secret that you don't allow it to see the light of the day, repent and the power of God will blot all your sin. Every sin we commit goes into record, but when we repent, God will blot out our lifestyle of sin and it'll not be remembered against us anymore. Tonight is your night, Jesus will bless you, He will forgive your sins. Christ came to save us, He doesn't give us license to go and sinning, He came so that He will take away our sins and turn everyone away from iniquity, tonight is your night, He will do it for you.
POINT 3. REASSURANCE THAT LOOKS UP TO THE COMPASSION OF CHRIST.
MATTHEW 14:13-14; MICHA 7:18-20; MATTHEW 20:32-34; MARK 9:21-23.
Jesus is our Healer, and when we are suffering, we have pain and we cannot concentrate, His compassion comes to us and heal us. You will be Compassionately cure tonight. The people who heard of Jesus, many of them having issues of blood and incurable diseases, they came unto Christ and He was moved with compassion towards them, not empty compassion, it's active compassion. Anytime He sees a sick person, a sick family, a sick community, He heals. He has seen you where you are tonight and He will have compassion on you, He has power, the mention of His name will bring deliverance, He will set you free, He will have compassion on you and He will heal you tonight IN Jesus Name. Christ knows you're there, but you must answer His question when He ask what you need. You will not be a spectator but you will be a partaker of the manifestation of the power of God. That solution will come tonight IN Jesus Name. You must accept Him as your Lord, you must believe Him as your Lord, if you make yourself the Lord of your life, and the final controller of your life, you will not have the compassion of Christ. If you make man your lord, Jesus is out of your equation, the Lord Jesus will not be effective in your life and you cannot have what you need to have, but when you make Christ the Lord of your life and you submit to His Lordship, the goodness of God will be activated in your life IN Jesus Name. The compassion of Christ is activated by our surrender, by our faith, by totally rely upon Him with real assurance, He will give you salvation, that's what bring righteousness into our lives, when we make Him our Lord, He gives us deliverance from sin and Salvation, He will come to your life today, He will touch your life, His supernatural hand will come upon your challenge, that irresistible power by Satan, by sicknesses, the redemptive hand of Christ will touch your life, He will touch that fibroid, He will touch that incurable disease in your life tonight IN Jesus Name. Your miracle is coming now, immediately, instantaneously He will take that terrible thing out of your life, that's how salvation comes. When Christ touches your life and turns your life around, every idolatrous and fornicating habit He will wipe out of your life instantaneously IN Jesus Name, and the same thing happens to your sickness, He will heal you and after you get the miracle, you will not go back to your idol, after He has saved you, you will follow Christ in your life, you follow Christ by a life that is totally change and totally transform. That power will come to your life IN Jesus Name. Whatever sickness you had from childhood, tonight, power has come to roll that long standing problem away from your life IN Jesus Name. The dump spirit, the evil spirits tormenting your life, He will wipe away. His compassion cures us, His compassion works the miracle in our lives, He will help you tonight. He never reject the request of anyone that is sincerely asking for help. He will help us, whatever the problem, that help, saving help, redemptive help, a turning around help will come to you tonight IN Jesus Name. If you can believe in Christ tonight, and you hate what He hates, you love what He love and you don't go back to Satan, you don't go back to sin, but if you say you believe and you go back to your normal, common, regular habitual sin, that's not conversion, you must quit your sin, you must believe and if you truly believe, you will love what He love, you will abide in Him, tonight is your night of salvation, night of healing, night of deliverance, it will happen by His compassion tonight IN Jesus Name. You must repent and turn away from everything contrary to righteousness, you totally rely on God and have the assurance that whosoever call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved.
