MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday 29th April 2025.
Heavenly wisdom comes from the Almighty God. Proverbs 2:6-7 says, “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.” Anyone who wants to walk in heavenly wisdom must be born again.
It is only the saints that God grants sound wisdom. He does not give it to those who walk in unrighteousness. Psalm 111:10 also says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments…” So, the first step to walking in divine wisdom is to surrender totally to the lordship of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
The second step to walking in divine wisdom is to ask. Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask and it shall be given unto you.” And concerning wisdom, James 1:5 says, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” The third step takes us to James 1:6, which says, “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” You must ask in faith, believing that God will give it to you.
If you are asking God for wisdom, do not doubt whether He can or will do it because once He senses doubt or unbelief, you will lose out. Never doubt God’s capability if you are serious about receiving anything from Him.
The next step is to desire it with all your heart and be determined to get it. Also, you must read and study the word of God. Lastly, earnestly seek the baptism of the Holy Spirit. It takes a Holy Spirit-filled life to walk in the wisdom of God.
