TOPIC: GLORIOUS TRANSFORMATION THROUGH CHRIST'S GLORIOUS TRIUMPH
TEXT: ROMANS 12:1-2,9-21.
Everybody praises the Lord. I welcome everyone to the final day of this crusade, and I pray, if you miss anything from the first day, tonight is the climax, you will have your portion of miracle, your portion of salvation, your portion of answer prayers. Christ came into this world, and He did what no other person has done. He triumphed over sickness for you, He triumphed over Satan for you, He triumphed over eternal death for you, and because He's done that, we have glorious transformation through Christ glorious triumph. We don't just come to Calvary, and that's all. Because of Calvary, we present every part of our body to God, and it's a living sacrifice, not dead sacrifice. If you have met Christ, a change has come. Because of the transformation of the Lord, He says be not conformed to this world. Transformation renews the character of everyone who has come to the Lord. We are transformed by the renewing of our minds. When that transformation actually takes place as a result of salvation, love will be prominent, no dishonesty anymore, because we are transformed, love will be without hypocrisy and pretence, love will be real and we reject everything that is evil because we are born again. No cruelty, no hatred, no hurt for anybody, no more tribalism, if there's transformation, old life is gone and there's brotherly love. There's no greed, there's no self centerdness, there's no covetousness, there's no attitude to push everybody away. The transformation the Lord does in us makes us prefer other people. In the past, before the transformation came, we are fervent in making money. Now we transfer all that fervency from the business of the world, and now we are fervency in serving the Lord. You bring the seriousness and the zeal to serving the Lord. If you only think and care about yourself, there's no transformation in that. Transformation Is that we distribute the necessity to others and the selfishness we used to have before, we have it no more. Now, because of the change and transformation, when we are persecuted, we bless the persecutors. That's the transformation. If that transformation is not there, we can not claim to be converted. Don't curse the persecutors because now a different has come, and that change makes you bless and curse not. We are not contradicting people, and we are not cursing people. That's what salvation brings. Pride was a past description in your life. You lifted yourself up above other people, but a change has come. Now, because Christ triumphs, we too now triumph, and we no more carry pride and arrogance. When there's transformation, you will have a change of life. Trouble, confusion, conflict, and violence will not start from you. You live peaceably with all men. If somebody has hurt you, you will not avenge yourself. Only those who are transformed can feed their enemies. If the entrance of Christ is in your life, you will not avenge yourself, and you will have peace in your heart because you're transformed. A change, a transformation, is what salvation brings in our lives. The Lord will effect all that meaningful transformation to every life today IN Jesus Name
POINT 1. TRANSFORMING CONVERSION THROUGH GENUINE SALVATION.
ACTS 15:3,28-29; 3:19-26; JAMES 5:19-20; 1 THESSALONIANS 1:5-10.
When the Salvation is genuine, you will have transforming conversion. Make sure you're not carrying an experience that is counterfeit. Make sure your conversion is real. Now that a change has taken place, you will abstain from everything related to idol, you keep yourself from adultery. That is the evidence of genuine salvation. Because a change has come, the things you used to drink, you drink them no more, the things that you used to eat, you eat them no more. When you're converted, your life will not go in the direction of sin again. When somebody claims to be born again and now he goes away from righteousness, he's gone away from the truth. He still needs conversion. The backslider still needs conversion. The sinner still needs conversion. When you hear the word of God and all that you're looking at is the structure of the message, that's not good enough. But when the word comes to you in power and you're converted, that's the true conversion. Conversion makes you drop all evil and makes you follower of Christ, it will happen to you, that's the beauty of the gospel, it's not just religious only, there's a grace of God that comes to your life and there's transformation. Examine yourself so that you can have genuine salvation. Your dynamic faith in God is spread abroad. The evidence will be there that you're transformed. Glorious transformation happens through glorious triumph Christ. The hearing of the gospel made an impact in the lives of the people in the Bible, and today, the Lord will give it to you. There's no joy if transformation doesn't come into your life. Where you were dubious, all that will vanish away IN Jesus' Name.
POINT 2. TRUSTWORTHY CONTINUATION IN HIS GRACIOUS STEPS.
1 PETER 2:1-3,21; GALATIANS 2:20; 1 JOHN 2:1-6; 3:1-3.
You now continue in the steps of Christ. God wants you to come and take the salvation and blessings and continue in His steps. Continuation is what the Lord wants to see in our lives. When you come to the Lord, you lay aside all malice, all guile, all hypocrisy, all envy. If we are Born again, there's no envy anymore, lay all that aside When you are converted, you will desire the sincere milk of the word because it's that sincere milk of the word that will feed you spiritually. Everyday, you take the word of God, you read the word of God, you apply the word you have read, you claim the promises of what you have read and you obey what you have read. That will be the practice of your life. You give honour to the Lord, you give respect to the Lord when you're praying. After you're born again, you're looking at Jesus and any situation you come to. You want to ask yourself what Christ will do? He left us an example that we should follow His steps. If Christ is living in you, whatever He will not do, you will not do, you will continually follow after the Lord because you're crucified with Christ. When you're born again, you will be gentle and honest because Christ has changed your life, and every moment of your life, you are a Christian. If you're full of hatred, malice, animosity, and fighting spirit, you're not born again, no matter what you do in the church and no matter who you are. Jesus becomes your standard in the day and in the night. If you say you are saved, you ought to walk even as Christ walked. Religious people come to church, but there's no genuine salvation. They will not see Jesus on the final day. Christ is not coming for the secret sinners, He's coming for those who are saved by grace, and they live their lives by grace. We walk in the same gracious steps of Christ when we are truly born again, He gives us strength and determination to live like Him. You will live as a Christian ought to live.
POINT 3. TRUE COMMITMENT TO HIS GREAT SERVICE.
JOHN 4:28-30,42; MARK 5:18-20; 1 CORINTHIANS 15:51-52; PHILIPPIANS 3:20-21; JOHN 1:40-42; LUKE 9:23,57-62
When you meet the Lord and you have new experience of Salvation, without anybody following you up, you will discover the way to truly commit yourself to His great service. You will surrender to Christ tonight, your life, your destiny, you will put it in the hand of Christ tonight, and your service will begin immediately. Serving the Lord and inviting other people will be your service when you're saved. Service comes out of your own volition without anybody forcing you. Tell your neighbours how great things the Lord has done for you. Get yourself involve in the service of Christ that you will go on inviting others the people that have real salvation are not hiding the Bible behind, they are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus, they are committed to the service of the Lord. Now that you are born again, you will proclaim the gospel of salvation to sinners around you. Forgiveness is definite when you're not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus, and many people will follow you to Christ. We don't treat Jesus like a stranger. You treat Him like your Saviour. You will decide to follow Christ tonight, no turning back, no turning back. Sickness will vanish away in your life, if you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you will have genuine Salvation and His life will be reproduced in your life, His grace will be multiplied in your life, and the miracle that happens to you today will continue. Your life will continue in the grace of God, and as you grow older, healing and deliverance will never leave your life. Your life is now going to start afresh, bright, brighter, brightest
