TOPIC: THE UNTOLD POWER OF TAMED AND UNTAMED TONGUES.

JAMES 3:1,5,10,13,17-18.

The writer of the Epistle of James uses many vivid figures of speech to present instructions regarding practical wisdom and guidance for Christian attitudes and conduct. The writer emphasizes the importance of uses of tongue in the practice of the Christian religion. and so We understand that the tongue is a little member of the body, but it is powerful. Is either it'll destroy when not properly used, or it'll speak good things when it's tamed. The taming tongue is reserved for doing good, and on the other hand, an untamed tongue is for speaking evil. As Christian, our tongues determine the fruitfulness and fruitlessness in the ministry.
A tongue that is tamed speaks out good and peaceful words, but an untamed tongue destroys, scatter, and flatter. As Christians, our tongues should be used under the control of the Holy Spirit, we must use our tongues to lift up others and bless souls.
POINT ONE: THE DESTRUCTIVENESS AND DAMNATION OF LOOSE UNTAMED TONGUES.

As Christian teacher/preacher, check up your tongue before you teach people, and take that tongue to Calvary for purging before you preach, But if your tongue is not purge, there will be condemnation and Judgment of God upon you. If you control your tongue, perfection will come. The tongue is the gateway to our lives, and everything we do in life involves tongue. The tongue is a little member, as you compare a tongue with any part of the body. The tongue is a little member, and yet, it directs the progress of our lives. Tongue is a fire. If the tongue is not saved and it is connected with a dirty heart , it will utter out iniquity words, and it's that word that defile the whole body. The tongue uncontrolled, the tongue is undependable, and the tongue of a backslider drives him to hell fire. Education alone does not tame the tongue, civilization, wealth, riches, or whatever you have alone does not tame the tongue. Being a woman of wealth does not tame the tongue. We should not be many advisers or counsellors because the tongue is very important. The friends of Job thought they were revealing knowledge to him, they thought they were saying the right thing and they Jumped into the ministry of counselling, they thought they were saying the right thing in all they counsels Job. But at the end of everything, the Lord said He's angry at them because what they said is false. They jumped into the ministry of counselling without knowing the Consequences of what they were saying, and all the counselling they gave to Job was false, and the Lord summarized everything and said it was false. We need to watch our tongues lest what we say bring us to eternal judgment. Don't be such in a hurry. Stay back and think of the consequence of what you are saying. People who are not called by God will even come to tell you false vision because they are seeking praise and recognition. Look at the information you want to give and be sure that the information is true. Don't be in a hurry to carry out false information because of self recognition and praise of men. Many people will die and go to hell fire because of false information they give to people, that's why you need to tame your tongue and be not in such an hurry to carry information about, don't endanger your life because God said such people will receive condemnation and judgment. Watch your mouth and don't spread any story that is not true because there's danger for the people that go around and tell what people want to hear. Many people have destroyed their lives because of their untamed tongues, and that untamed tongues brought premature death to them.
The multitudes knew that Jesus came from God and they knew that what He teaches is truth, they even wanted to made Him King so that He will be blessing them and healing them, and the Pharisees used their mouth to persuade everybody to shout, Crucify Christ instead of them to used their tongues to persuade people to repent, they used their gifts of communication to persuade the people to say, Crucify Him. If you have the gift of communication, use it aright to save people and don't use your gift of communication to make people go to the wrong direction, don't use your gift of communication to persuade people to go astray, but today, many preachers have the gift of communication, they can be persuasive, but they used their gift of communication to persuade people to error, they used their gifts to deceive people and to make them go astray. other people used their gift of communication to lead people to error, but such people will be condemned and judged.
POINT TWO : THE DECEITFULNESS AND DUPLICITY OF LAWLESS UNDEPENDABLE TONGUES.

The duplicity of undependable tongue is emphasized in the Book of James. Many people use their tongues to bless, and on the other hand, they use it to curse. both blessing and cursing are coming out of their mouth, such people are undependable. If you say you have got the new covenant to love your neighbour, but there's bitterness, envying, and strife in your heart, such wisdom of bitterness is not coming from God. God is telling us to examine ourselves and our tongues whether it's purged or not purged, with tongue, many people gathered people together and with their tongue they scattered, many people used their tongues to Build and with the same tongue they destroys what they have built, such people are lawless and undependable.
🖊They heal, and they hurt.
🖊They teach to make you strong, and on the other hand, they use the same tongue to weaken you and tears you down.
🖊There are people who support you, and they encourage and enlighten you, but with the same tongue, they sabotage your efforts.
🖊Some lift you up, and they also pull you down. They are not dependable.
🖊some Refreshes you but latter they reproach you,
🖊There are some people that endorsed you, and then later, they endanger you and put stumbling block on your way.
It's this duplicity that the Apostle said it should not be in our lives.
✏️Some people use their mouth to bless, and they use the same tongue to curse also.
✏️They are up, and they are down.
✏️ They are left, and they are right.
✏️They preach, they Provoke.
✏️They are forward, and they are backward.
✏️Outwardly and openly, they say nice things, but privately, they flatter you.
✏️They appear peaceful, and on the other hand, war is coming out from their mouth.
A deceptive tongue hated people who were afflicted by that lie.
✔️Some appear consistent outwardly, but privately, they tear you down.
There are people that say something in the open, and they say another thing privately.
Such people are double tongue because they have a double heart. They promised liberty, but they themselves are under bondage. But the Lord will make you faithful and sincere.
POINT THREE : THE DECISIVENESS AND DESTINY OF LIBERATING UNBLAMEABLE TONGUES.

What are the Characteristics of the Wisdom of the Liberating Unnameable Tongue?
I. It is wisdom that endued with knowledge of correct, right interpretation of the word of God. ECCLESIASTES 8:1; Daniel 2:21. There's no Knowledge without Wisdom. if you are going to have the wisdom of teacher, and the wisdom that turns many to righteousness, it will be wisdom that is endued with the knowledge and proper interpretation of the word of God. the Lord will give us supernatural boldness IN Jesus' Name Amen.
When you have the wisdom, you use your tongue aright in conversation, and it's your conversation that will turn many people to righteousness.
This wisdom gives us good conversation, and that conversation makes us turn the heart of people unto God.
This wisdom we are talking about will affect your tongue, and then you will be able to win your husband unto the Lord.
II. This kind of wisdom that shows out our lives is the wisdom that is meek, and in meekness, you are instructing people aright.
this wisdom will make you able to preach without argument, there will be meekness of the tongue when you have this wisdom, the wisdom that comes from above is pure and Peaceable and if you have this wisdom, you are going to show people that you are different with the use of your tongue. even when people are raining curses on you, because you have this wisdom of meekness and peace, you will not curse them back or abuse anyone. And don't use the pulpit to attack those that are causing you problems. Your ministry is to bring them out of sin and don't use pulpit to attack them. When you are on the pulpit or when you are counselling people, you must follow peace with all men and holiness.
III. The wisdom from above is pure and peaceable.
IV. This kind of wisdom is gentle and merciful. if you are counselling and leading people to Christ, you will be pure, you will be peaceful, you will be gentle, nes and Meek. Gentleness will characterize your ministry and everything that you say on the pulpit and behind the pulpit. There should be no partiality and hypocrisy when you are taking a decision or giving assignments to the people. You're not thinking of tribe or familiarity. Don't do anything with partiality. When you are delegating people in one area or the other, do it with sincerity and not by partiality or trying to be tribalistic. Every form of hypocrisy the Lord will take out of our lives. God will make you righteous and you will have the fruit of righteousness in your ministry, and your ministry will be an encouragement and uplift people and the fruit of Righteousness will have effect in your life and in your family. You will be an encouragement to people, and you will not pull down the people you have encouraged.. What you gather, Satan will not scatter it, your fruit of righteousness will not be scanty and everything that happened to you will make you expand in your ministry; and when people look at your courage and as God has made you fruitful, it will pass on to other people IN Jesus Name Amen.
Your tongue will be fruitful and powerful to uplift other people and bring sinners to Christ.
Your tongue will be anointed, focused, and faithful. And as you speak, heaven will respond.
