How many of us have mishandled something incredibly valuable
that God has given us? We mishandled a relationship. We let our anger, our
pride, having to be right, tear us apart. We mishandled the position God gave
us. We weren’t focused; we didn’t give it our full effort. It’s like we threw
it away.
Or
how about the calling on our life? We knew God had destined us to set a new
standard for our family, to break negative cycles, to come out of lack and
defeat. But we gave into compromise, we hung around the wrong people, we didn’t
take it seriously. The truth is we’ve all mismanaged some things. We’ve all let
anger, disappointments, self-pity cause us to not value the gifts God has given
us.
