MESSAGE ANCHORED BY THE GENERAL SUPERINTENDENT.
TOPIC: THE ROYAL ROAD TO SALVATION AND SUCCESS THROUGH CHRIST.
TEXT: ISAIAH 48:17-18; JEREMIAH 6:16.
Amen.. If you believe it, it's time for you to fly. I believe. GCK became born again when he was 23, and nobody told him all these that you have been told every month, and he said he wish told him what we are hearing, but, by himself without anyone telling him, there's nobody to tell him, if you can dream it, you can do it. All of the sudden, he had something in his heart, he doesn't know whether he dreamt it, God gav
e the dream, and he believed God gave the dream. When God gives you a dream, you accept the dream, you believe, you confess, you drive that dream, you enter into that dream, you fortify yourself for the dream, you will do it. But you know, if you just say you have a dream and you don't internalize that dream and know you are going somewhere, you must do that. And so, our father in the Lord entered the university the year he was born again, and he knew there must be a dream that drives him. And as he entered from the very first day, he got the admission letter in June, of 1964, and he became Born again in April, what he did was, he contacted somebody in a Maths department, a student. He knew him because he passed out of her secondary school, and he gave him all his Math notes from year own, and between that June he got the admission and the September he entered into University as a student, he had gone through all his notes. He had read everything, he had studied everything, and he copied quite a lot of things there, and when he entered the University in September, when the lecturer came, what he was talking about, pastor Kumuyi had studied it already between June and September, because he had a dream, and that dream made him focused, and the first class that he had in 1967 was so great. What else will you have? You will fly, and this is your own time. Today as we are talking about reigning with Christ, there's a royal road God constructed Himself, it's a road to salvation and it's a road to be significant in life, the Lord Himself created us for something great, for something higher, and not down there, He, our Creator teaches us, He instructs us to profit, to prosper and to progress. If you follow the Lord, there's no way you can fail, He knew the destination where we ought to be, He knows us in and out, if you do not follow your God who teaches, you will not have the progress. But when you follow the ways of God, you will have profit, you will have progress and you will have prosperity. When you read the Bible, many people says many things but you must realize what God has said, but if you don't realize what God has said, you would think you are equal and the same with other people, you must know what God is saying. We have a dream, know what God has said. Joseph had a dream that comes from God, and then we have Caleb that God sent, many people do not know the dreams that comes from God like Absalom. Let God lead, let Him show the way you must go, let the Lord teach you, when you have the place and destination you are going, you must stay and stand firm. If you are just looking without moving, faith without action is dead. Whatever you are doing and there's no rest and no peace in your life, check it up, if there's confusion and palpitation in the heart, check it up. But when you listen to the directive word of God, there will be Peace in your heart and in your soul.
POINT 1. THE RUINOUS ROAD WHILE RUNNING WITHOUT SALVATION IN CHRIST.
EZEKIEL 18:30; LUKE 6:49; PHILIPPIANS 2:16; HEBREWS 12:1-2.
There are people that are just running without Salvation is Christ. You must have a definite understanding that if the Salvation is not there, it's a ruinous road. The people that runs without Salvation are corrupted, there is corruption everywhere in the world, and what will thrust people without Salvation is ruinous road.
What are the things that come to derail you?
I. Carnality. A carnal man cannot please the Lord, that carnality will ruin our progress.
II. Compromise. There are people that cannot Stand. They are not able to get to where they ought to get to, they compromise, if you are a compromiser and you do know know where you're standing.
III. Careless/carefully life. The people who are careless and carefully in life will not be what they ought to be. Iniquities ruins life, evil doing ruins life, corruption ruins life, carnality ruins life, giving yourself to lecturer to make your way ruins life, compromise ruins life and you cannot get to where you ought to go, a careless life, free life, carefully life cannot reach the peak of success. The Lord is saying repent from all the life of corruption, today is the day of total turning unto the Lord. Adam and Eve were created to reign, to have dominion over everything, but because of their compromise, their dominion escaped them, because of the careless and carefully life, that's why they couldn't reign. Solomon should have be a higher king but a careless life made him not to have what God has ordained for him. Samson should have reign, but his careless life hindered him, all these people do not know what God has ordained for them because of those things that came into their lives. But today, it's time for you in your environment to reign. When carnality and corruption comes, you will say no.
Compromise will come because the devil is behind, engineering them. You will not compromise, you will do everything you ought to do appropriately, carelessness, being carefully will not bring you down, you will soar IN Jesus Name. Iniquities ruins anyone that gave chance to that iniquity to destroy and ruin their lives. Many people build their career, their educational pursuit without a foundation, eg, there are people that buy certificates or they got the certificate through expos, they do not have a foundation of education, and when they get into University they cannot cope because that corruption becomes ruining. If we allow carelessness and compromise because everybody is building without foundation, all those buildings without foundation will crumble. I pray, your house, your career will not collapse, and your success will not be stopped by anything IN Jesus Name. But it takes repentance and restitution. Whatever you've got without foundation, the certificate you stole from another person, you will make a restitution and rectify your past, it's then you will fly. All the things you lost in the past and you didn't have foundation, you will go back and make your way right and you will succeed IN Jesus Name. All the people we have in the Bible says. In Hebrews 12:1, 2, the word of God says, Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Enoch walked with God not minding what others are doing, Abel offered an acceptable sacrifice, he will not allow the corruption of Cain to hinder him from doing what he ought to do. Noah kept on building, he didn't mind what others are doing, all these people went on consistently doing what they ought to do without minding what other people are doing. Lay aside every weight of corruption and every weight of compromise and carelessness. You are thinking of repentance, and as you're thinking that, that irresistible sinful partner shows up, are you going to continue in your prayer? While that person shows up, lay aside the things that doth easily beset you. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Lay aside the unequally yoked together with unbelievers, and while you're making a decision, that business partner that is not born again shows up, and his ideology seems irresistible, but if you're going to run the race, you must set aside the things that doth easily beset you. When you are about to fly, those things were there but when the assurance of salvation is there, you will not yield. You have to separate from those things that leads to corruption and compromise, continue in the faith, he steady and steadfast. You will have Peace, you will have progress. There's repentance, there's restitution, there's righteousness. As you give yourself to God, that seals your repentance with righteousness.
POINT 2. THE RULING RESPONSE FOR RISING TO SUCCESS THROUGH CHRIST.
EPHESIANS 5:14-16; ISAIAH 52:1-2,11; PSALMS 1:1-3; JOSHUA 1:7-8
Let your response to ruling of Christ be a positive response. The One that is higher than the highest says, awake thou that sleepeth and Christ shall give you light. When the message of the gospel comes to you and you do all things by it, that's when the light of godliness and glory will shine in your life, you must arise, you must crush all the slumbering and carelessness away. You get away from those things that deaden your conscience and be alive to Christ. After we are saved, we walk in righteousness and we do not go back to those dead practices practices anymore. Fools roads will not take them to destination, the road that leads to success in life is the road of holiness and righteousness. Others have taken that road and they got to destination and they got to victory, they walked circumferentially, not with compromise. Daniel also walked circumferentially. If you walk on that road, you will get to your destination. Don't procrastinate what you need to do today until tomorrow, do what you ought to do today, if you talk in an improper time, it will not give you the best. But redeeming the time so that you will not be a fool, study when the brain is hungry for knowledge, that's the time to discipline yourself and get it. But when you waste your time, you will be a fool. Read when the cells of your brain are connected together, when the iron is hot, that's the time to get it done. David conquered Goliath, but in his order days, he couldn't do those things he used to do when he was young, you will conquer your Goliath. But you must do what you need to do now, don't wait until you're old, while the message is fresh, while the firing is burning, while the determination is strong, redeem the time because the days are full of evil. Do what you need to do now, devote to a good career, devote to a good destiny and good destination, if you need to study something new, spend an hour daily to devote yourself, concentrate on it and you will master it. But that thing you push aside, that things that waste your time, there's nothing you can do until your conscience, your brain, your inner man wakes up to reality. Wake up to your future, regather yourself, reconnect yourself and put on your strength. Put on your thinking cap, put on the strength of your life, let something wake you up and then you will realize you have strength that you need to put on. Look at yourself, look at your action and wake up, you will wake up and put on your strength. Don't be a fearful and timid person, that timidity will be taken away IN Jesus Name. Awake, something happens in your life, and the strength and the ability will come upon you. This is the day you will wake up IN Jesus Name, and you will put on your strength and beautiful garment. Wherever you are, let there be purpose, goal and progress. your day has come, you will awake from the dust, you will lose yourself from the binds on your neck. Enough is enough for those things holding you down, we are going to break every bands on you, you will not be nice to the devil today, you will cast Satan out today, you will not be gentle with the evil spirits, you are getting out of under that yoke today IN Jesus Name. You will not be a slave anymore IN Jesus Name. The goodness of God in the Bible is there for you, you will mediate on the precepts of God and on what God Himself has ordained for you. You will bring forth fruit in this season. You will bring forth the appropriate fruit for this season IN Jesus Name, your fruit will come forth IN Jesus Name. Look at every season of your life, would you allow any season to be useless? The answer is no! You will bring forth fruit in this season, and whatsoever you do shall prosper. We don't become hero by doing nothing, but today, you will produce out something good and something mighty, no day is given to laziness and unproductivity, something must be done that God will multiply every day of our lives.
3. THE REESTABLISHED REIGN OF THE RIGHTEOUS THROUGH STEADFASTNESS IN CHRIST.
HEBREWS 3:14; 1 PETER 5:8-9; 2 PETER 3:9,17; 1 CORINTHIANS 15:57-58; ROMANS 16:19-20.
Not the people that do not pursue whatever they have started, they have many abandon projects, no definite goal to what God has called them to, it takes being determined, diligent to be reestablished. Whatever comes, whatever it is, what you know is the dream that God has planted in your life and you're so disciplined and diligent, that's how you will reign, those who are lazy never reign, circumstances reign over them because they didn't set the race, they are up and down, they are to and fro like Lucifer and they achived nothing. You will achieve something. The righteous are the people that will reign. The people who are adamantly unrighteous in the sight of God will not reign, but those that are righteous shall reign, sin, Satan will not reign over them, sickness will not reign over them, self will not reign over them and self will not reign over you, substance like marijuana, hard drugs will not reign over you, you will be a goal getter, whatever turns the brain and changes life will not reign over you, substance that cut short lives will not reign over you, if you have started, the Lord will deliver you and you will not go back to that substance. Slavery to sensuality will not take over your life, serpent and scorpion will not destroy your life, Christ will deliver you, Satan will not have any power over your life anymore IN Jesus Name, you will be steadfast in the Lord. All that you got today will pick you up and you will go forward, you will not live in mediocrity, you will arise, you will soar, you will achieve, from today, life will have meaning on you IN Jesus Name. If you hold on to what you've heard today, nothing will stop your journey upward, Satan will come under your feet, the decision you've made today will go abroad. God of power, God of all might shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly, grace for Salvation, grace for success, grace for steadfastness, grace to overcome everytime will follow you, grace will abide with you, no impossibilities in your life, victory, triumph, power, achievement, the goal of God fulfil IN your life IN Jesus Name, nothing will stop you, nothing will hold you down. You will succeed , success has come, achievement has come to you, this is a new day, you will forget the past because new thing will begin right now, you will not live in mediocrity.
